The Skyline of the previous post was not meant to sit on the AWD chassis, but it can be a nice fit and a nice drifter as well.

Getting the Skyline onto the Mini-Z AWD Chassis
Sunday, February 7th, 2010Shakotan-Boogie Jun’s Skyline for Mini-Z
Monday, February 1st, 2010Jepp … I had to have it. It’s just the best of the Skylines there is. Also for the Mini-Z Chassis. Just for you, here are some images of the Body still sitting on it’s dummy chassis:
Skyline – the project
Monday, January 4th, 2010The Nissan Skyline will be the first X-Mod Project I am doing. The final car will be based on the well documented demo car of Focus Auto Sales. The car is a 1999 R34 Nissan Skyline GTR Vspec in the factory colour Lightning Yellow with white rims and some subtle body modifications. The guys over at FAS allowed me the use of images but in exchange they want pictures of the finished X-Mod …

X-Mods sighted
Sunday, January 3rd, 2010Somehow those mini-rc cars seem to multiply … You all know my Kyosho MR02 and the Mini-Bull, now there are some X-Mods here as well. During the Christmas period one of the german online sellers had a special offer where you could buy 3 for €90,– which by itself is a good offer. One (a ’65 Mustang) was given as a gift to my brother-in-law while the other two remained with me. I am talking about a Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec and a ’06 Mustang.

With the high voltage batteries there was definitively a bigger umpf available to the car …
Simple mini rc car tuning for everybody …

You don’t need to open any part of your racer, you just replace some parts. Actually it sounds worse than it is, since you will only be replacing something which you anyway replace on a regular basis. The batteries …
Quick Repair …
Saturday, January 31st, 2009I just did a quick fix on the broken Carson Mini-Bull Lamp …
I just needed to drop a little but of plastic cement onto the roll bar and the broken off lamp and stick it on … no magic to it. But the next outing will be without the rollbar to avoid another broken lamp.
Mini-Bull after first outing
Wednesday, January 28th, 2009One of my colleagues at work was very eager to have a go at the Mini-Bull ’cause he always fancied the Monster Trucks but doesn’t want to spend a lot of money … so after a charging session I brought the monster to work with me. We went out to a little ark for a quick go.
