After the first layers of primer have been applied and removed again it is now time to fill some parts of the model. The filler used in this case is a 2 component filler used for car bodywork repair. Here you need to be careful again. It’s flammable and the fumes are not really healthy. Since the original windscreen is not available any more and instead a lexan windscreen is mounted the 3 mounting holes for the original windscreen can be closed.
Also part of the air scoops need to be blended in with the rest of the bodywork, so they are being filled as well. And last, but not least the mounting of the rear spoiler needs a massive amount of filling to fit properly into the body.
In the detail pictures you can see, that you don’t need to be very careful with the filler. Anyway we are going to sand it down again after it is dry.
So, grab your spatula and the filler, mix it up and start filling the parts where it is necessary.
